FillMyPIP was built by one person who has spent years helping people put their difficulties into words on the PIP form. This page is an honest account of who that is, and what this tool does and does not do.
My name is Karol Slusarczyk. I run FillMyPIP as a sole trader, trading as Benefits Expert, and I am registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO:00014179042) to handle personal information properly.
Let me be straight about what I am not, because it matters. I am not a solicitor. I am not a doctor. I do not work for the DWP or any government body, and I never have. What I am is someone who has spent years, in practice, helping people work out how to describe their conditions accurately on the PIP form, and who saw the same problem again and again: good, genuinely unwell people were losing out simply because the form is hard and they did not know what it was really asking.
FillMyPIP grew directly out of that experience. It is the help I would give someone across a table, turned into a tool you can use from your sofa, on a bad day, at your own pace.
The PIP form is long, and it is written in a way that does not match how people actually talk about being unwell. Most people are modest. When asked whether they can cook a meal, they say "yes, sort of", because on a good day, slowly, in pain, they can. The form does not reward that honesty. It is quietly asking something much more specific: can you do it safely, properly, as often as you need to, and in a reasonable time, on most days?
People also tend to write about their best days, not their worst, and to leave out the help they get because they have stopped noticing it. Add the exhaustion and worry that come with being unwell, and it is no surprise that so many forms undersell how hard life really is. The difficulty is almost never that the person does not qualify. It is that the form did not capture the truth of their day.
Here is exactly what you can expect, with nothing hidden.
I built this for people who are unwell, tired and worried, so I hold it to three simple promises:
The price is £99.99, one-off, for either form. There are no subscriptions and no hidden tiers. You can see one full activity written for you, free, before you pay anything.
If you have a question before you start, or you need a hand along the way, I would rather you asked than struggled. You can get in touch through the contact page, and a real person will read it.
Tell us about your health and we will write one full activity for you, free, before you pay anything.
